"A very good relaxing mini break in Bruges….Hotel Academie provided a decent size room, a good bathroom and buffet breakfast…I would stay there again. Restaurants near the hotel…have great ambiance, lovely fresh moules & you can watch the horse carriages go by…it’s the half way stop where they water and give oats to the horses hired out in the main square. Six chocolatiers near the hotel, 100’s of them in Bruges…my favourite…chocolate covered cherries with stalks and stones still in (Cerisettes) on sale just by the hotel."

“Very impressed with the service and expertise...arranging trip to Le Touquet via ferry...staying at Mercure Grand, our requirements are a little bit more than usual, i.e. wheelchair access on the boat and disabled facilities at the hotel, all arranged within a few hours - booked on Friday went on Monday.”
Peter & Moira Fidoe - Solihull (July 2011)

....hotel staff were especially attentive and the food was certainly 'gastronomique' with not the least cause for complaint…please do thank your staff for their very efficient help.”

"Just returned from a two night break at the Hotel Bristol …hotel is in an excellent location….very clean, staff are pleasant, helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was more than sufficient…had the added bonus of excellent weather, so made full use of the beautiful beach. The Market in the square of Le Touquet is not to be missed, even if you do not buy anything…certainly worth a visit. On the whole a very enjoyable break, and will re-book using you again, as everything ran smoothly… my thanks to all. " Nicola – Addlestone, Surrey (April 2011)

"The Novotel we stayed at was superb - friendly helpful staff… the local population were lovely folk…we had a wonderful time and I placed a wreath on Granddad’s grave, the main purpose of our visit. I have since discovered my great uncle was also killed in action close to Ypres...so we will be making another trip early next year.”
Pete Nicholas - Sturminster Newton, Dorset (Novotel Ieper Centrum – March 2011)
“Just wanted to say thanks very much for all your help organizing this trip for me…it was a surprise present…which worked a treat! Without your help we probably wouldn't have been able to go and I had planned a lot for the weekend, so thank you for all your hard work…a really great trip...I think the surprise show at the Moulin Rouge topped it all off! I will have no hesitation in using your company again.”
Peter Wilkinson – Holybourne, Hants (Hotel Glasgow Monceau, Paris – March 2011)
"We had a fantastic time and will be booking with you again…never been to Paris, got on at St Pancras…started to read my papers, the girls were playing card games and my wife was reading a book and well…we were there! Unbelievable - no hassle or stress, what a great start to our break. Paris is beautiful any time of the year, went on a river cruise and walked the streets…cannot wait till our next train break!"
Parvez Bhatty – Leicester (Mercure Paris Tour Eiffel Suffren - Feb 2011)
“Hotel Ibis is a good, clean two star, ideally located in Bruges. The rooms are fine for a short visit…two restaurants we used and enjoyed are ‘De Postiljon’ - about five minute’s walk in the same street with several fixed price menus to choose from, like eating in your own dining room. ‘Venice’ about 15 minute’s walk, the E17.50 menu was good, with a friendly waiter/manager. For model railway enthusiasts there is a small coffee shop called ‘City Rail’ about 5 minutes from the hotel. It has a large working model railway and another under construction.”
Roger Whelan – Staines (Ibis Bruges Centrum – December 2010)
"Thanks so much for your great service in arranging this short break for us. The hotel was great, staff really friendly and the room clean, well presented and just right. It was so close to everywhere that walking to places was easy….we both had a fabulous time and would definitely use Trainbreaks again."
Kathy Contaris – Glastonbury (Hotel Bradford Elysees, Paris - November 2010)
"Many, many thanks for making all the arrangements for our family trip to Paris…you were able to do things that we simply could not! Finding the best times for the best prices on Eurostar…premium seats, round a table….. all at a very good price. Also checking the prices/availability at a few hotels, arranging that our rooms would be near each other, and contacting the hotel about our arrival time. We all had a great time which is quite an achievement as we all like different things. 15 year-old loved the hotel so much, especially the bathroom, that he had three baths one day and walked back there on his own to spend a bit more time there…teenagers! Thanks again - I won't hesitate to call you if we plan any similar trips in future."
Amanda Jones – London SE11 – (Ritz Hotel, Paris – October 2010)
"Our trip to Paris went very well and we are now back in Canada. Hotel des Nations St Germain is a very good hotel, extremely well situated, with pleasant and helpful staff. The breakfast is excellent. Many thanks for your help. I will recommend you to friends."
Bill Hare, Halifax, Canada (September 2010)
"This is just to say many thanks for arranging our trip to Paris. We had an excellent time and all the arrangements worked perfectly. Hotel Yllen Eiffel was a lot better than we expected for an inexpensive Paris hotel! There was even a kettle, a bath and room to store suitcases - what more can a girl ask for! It was also right next door to the Metro which was extremely handy."
Imogen - Folkestone, Kent (August 2010)
"We look forward to being able to use your company again and have no hesitation in recommending you to friends and family." Mrs Jean Grenfell, Birmingham (July 2010)
"We would highly recommend Trainbreaks - they arranged everything for us taking the strain of the bookings and arranging reservations! Their service was excellent - friendly and efficient. The Hotel t'Putje was excellent – it is located on the outskirts of the city centre but with only a 10 minute walk to the main tourist spots which makes it an ideal location. The staff at the hotel were very welcoming…..the rooms were all newly decorated and extremely well equipped. The bathroom was amazing! The hotel breakfast was far better than expected offering a range of hot and cold food to start your day off the right way! We will definitely be recommending this hotel to both friends and family. All in all we had a brilliant holiday! Many thanks to TrainBreaks for making our holiday so special." Tina D’Souza, Bedford (May 2010)
“Just wanted to say what a fantastic trip we had last week to the Chateau Mont Royal, Chantilly. It was everything we could have wished for and more. Your first view of the Chateau…certainly takes your breath away! You see before you a beautiful building, immaculate landscaped gardens and borders and a smartly dressed porter with a very warm welcome to greet you. Cases unloaded, your car is driven away to be parked whilst you are led to check in. Food, service and ambience were first class….all in all, a wonderful short break from the time of booking and your very helpful, friendly manner and assistance to returning home. We will definitely return to Chateau Mont Royal, hopefully in September - I will definitely be in touch!!”
Audrey McMillan – Penclawdd, West Glamorgan (April 2010)
"Another enjoyable trip to Paris… we prefer travelling from St. Pancras, and we appreciated your information on Eurostar Domestic (local connections)… that worked well. We look forward to our next trip." Paul Everrett, Chichester (Hotel Eiffel Capitol – April 2010)
"Arrived in the square and the frontage of the hotel is to your left and certainly a wow factor by everyone. Reception was very good and everyone was delighted with the accommodation. Indeed one gentleman who had a single room enjoyed a suite to himself and commented having travelled most of the world had never had such a superb room. Some people dined in the hotel restaurant on the set menu and were well satisfied with a lovely meal. The breakfast was equally superb with an excellent choice including virtually everything you could have asked for! So overall a very good trip - not one single comment of "could be better" - I must ask what changes would I like if the trip were to be repeated - the simple answer "nothing"." Brian Wilkinson - Hornby/Wray Twinning Association Group Trip. (Hotel Hermitage, Montreuil - April 2010)

"Just a short note to thank you for booking an EXCELLENT break!
