Gasthof T’Zweerd hotel is situated on the northern side of the market square (The Grote Markt) in the centre of Ypres. With just 17 practical, comfortable guest rooms this small, friendly hotel caters for those who wish to devote most of their time discovering the history of this area and then return to recuperate ready for another day of exploration. Centrally located, the hotel is close to the weekend market where you can experience some of the more colourful aspects of Belgian life, and get to know some of the locals as you search out the best chocolate and cake vendors or maybe listen to the Last Post Ceremony every evening at the Menin Gate around eight 8pm.
