What you need to know...

From the moment you arrive at the Hotel Albion you’ll be welcomed by friendly, helpful and informative staff. It’s just a short stroll to the city centre, so you can easily visit the Menin Gate and see the Last Post ceremony. Alternatively visit the beautiful Cloth Hall building which houses the “In Flanders Field Museum” or maybe grab a chair at one of the many cafes, bars or restaurants and watch the world go by. Guestrooms are comfortable and well equipped with spacious en suite bathrooms – some rooms are especially adapted for disabled visitors. You can book a tour of the Battlefield sites or get a copy of the Flanders field route and use your car, alternatively there’s a good bus service. The hotel has a particularly impressive library of WW1 reference books and others of general interest to whet your appetite before exploring the surrounding area.
