Short Break Chantilly
Chantilly’s forests shine like jewels and this elegant town is only a short distance from the bustle of Paris.

Chantilly is renowned for it’s famous horse racing and thoroughbred training, attracting many to it’s historic trophies – the Prix du Jockey-Club and Prix de Diane-Hermes. To the east of Chantilly is Parc Asterix a very popular theme park dedicated to the French favourite Asterix.

Embedded within the beautiful forests of Chantilly are a number of serene castles and manor houses, some are recently built but in-keeping with the traditional style and some date back to the Mid-16th Century steeped in antiquities and lavish surroundings.

The distance from the coast by car is around 160 miles, which should take about 2 ½ hours. It is well worth the drive as you are placed in the heart of the magical French countryside. Check out the hotels and Chateaux on offer.
